Fox Euro Pod
The Fox Euro Pod is a great all round pod and can used in almost every Carp fishing situation.
I have been using the Euro pod for 3 years now, and have not had any problems with it whatsoever.
The pod comes in 2 versions.
The ‘Euro Pod’ and the ‘Euro Pod kit’.
The difference being that the Euro Pod kit comes with 3 different sized sets of legs and 3 different sized upright poles that you attach the buzz bars to.
It also comes with a great bag for storage and transportation.
The euro pod just comes 2 of each and no bag.
The pod can be adjusted to suit most situations and is a very stable pod despite what Mother Nature can throw at us.
All the legs, uprights and mainframe are adjustable.
The uprights are detachable and screw into the main frame, rather than folding away like on some other pods so you can choose which size upright you want to use.
However as they detach from the main frame, there is also the possibility that they can be lost. But with them being “screw-in” it makes the pod that little bit more stable.
The legs fold away flat against the main frame but they can be swapped for the length that you require.
I would recommend this Pod to anyone wishing to buy a pod but it doesn’t come cheap and retails at around 2995:- for the Euro Pod kit in Sweden.
It can be bought in England for around 1000:- now, brand new.
The only down side I found about this pod is that the Euro Pod does not come with Buzz bars, you have to buy them separate.
Even the Euro Pod “Kit” does not come with Buzz bars, which you think it would do, if it is a “Kit”.
Obviously this does not affect the performance of the pod and I will be keeping my Euro Pod for many years to come.
It does its job !! And it does it very well !!
My Verdict 10/10 – It’s a great pod and it will last a lifetime if looked after correctly.
