6kg Gädda på BOILIES!!!!

Last weekend a young lad by the name of Thomas caught a 6kg pike on boilies at Ballasjön!!!!

Why fish for pike with deadbaits hahahahahaha

I fished ballasjön with a mate this weekend and we had to incidents when the hooklink just snapped without the rig beeing snagged. We just couldn´t figure it out. The fact that people has caught pike on boilies at balla comes as a relief for me, and it must be the reason the hooklinks snapped. The hooklinkmaterial was Sufix "super soft", but we changed to Sufix "camo skin" if it was some sort of snag that broke the hooklink.

If you use long(ish) hook links it could be due to a bite-off (from a carp)...

We actually used short hooklinks 5 - 10 cm and we didn´t get any indication of a bite (no bleeps) and we discovered the busted hooklink when we took our rigs in to re-bait (we were fishing the method). We just reeled our rigs in and the hooklinks were trashed.
