Take a gps with you in the boat and look for the speed on idle... ( works fine with a car-gps or mobil phone)

ok, so I take also driftsocks just for safety if i will need to slow down... and also hand gps to check speed.

@dannhe: How fast are you in idle without driftsocks...?

Just question: If idle would be for example maybe 1,8kn... and I will go up to maybe 2,1kn... is it possible to throttle so fine with remote control? Or will speed jump after maybe 1mm pushing the remote control to higher speeds?
