Well the weather had remained mild all week and the rivers were up a lot due to a brief hard downpour so what is the state of the canal ?

Menu ……chopped worm , caster , mags and pinks….no B+J …. 
Next section after the bridge we walked to gain the scales only to see Cam Hughes with his top section weight of over 5 kilos !

My reward was this lone Stripey , lost another but they don't count !
Colin Wise on peg 14 took 2nd place with 2300 and great angling on the B+J
