Earlier this year a fly fishing competition was set for beginners on the forum Fiskesnack. Troutpassion was one of many other sponsors. Emil Eriksson won the MATRIX reel and a WF class 6 Bardo supple series line with these two pictures.
This is his story: As a new member in our local fishing club Me and my friend Ludwig was fishing in the*club lake*in Sorsele (north of Sweden). Before we even really started to row the boat this grayling started to take flies in the surface. Both of us thought it was perch. I said to myself “what the heck”, tied on the famous fly e12 in size 14 and put the throw a couple of meters away from where I last saw the ring from it. The fish took the flie pretty much directly after it landed. I fought the fish for a while and a couple of moments later we saw the grayling. This was the only fish I caught this evening, later on a really bad weather came and ruined everything. The grayling weight about 1,2 kg and was 48 cm long. After all documentation I gave him his life back. / Emil Eriksson
The new generation of fishermen seems to be better then I was as a kid. Well done Emil and congratulations for being owner of a really nice reel and line. I send it to you in a couple of days.
