where to go?

HI!

I have planned come flyfishing to sweden. But i don't know where i should aim to go fishing. Im shearching good browntrout and laketrout rivers. I know Jämtland area i good for trout fishing, But my trip gona be so early at the summer (8-15.juni), so i guess those jämtland rivers are baddly in flood. But you have great lakes and i know there is great trolling fishing for lake salmon and laketrout, so there must be great trout rivers also. please help me and give me some tips for places to go trout flyfishing at early summer. Ps im not so interested about stock fish, im real friend of wild trout.

Yeah, at that time of the year you will be pretty limited where to go in the northern part of this country. Pity you seem not to be able to go in july or august instead.

I suggest Darlekarlia (Dalarna). You have river of Ore. ( Ore älv ) for instance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQYD1zIob3A

This is a decent Trout stream, wich also holds some Grayling.

And from there, you also have the possibility to go to Norway via the northern part of Darlekarlia (Särna and Idre) into the county of Vestlandet. There, you have the huge lake Femunden ( big Arctic Char , Trout and Grayling ). And also some pretty fine streams in the area for Grayling and Trout fishing.

I would like to add, that the further northwards you go in Sweden? The better the wild Trout fishing will be. But yeah, Jämtland is a good place to start.
